Barefoot Course are always in great Shape, Outside Staff are memorable and they remember you year after year. Food after or before, or both the round is very good and not too pricey.

Heads up: A week that will be super busy.

    62nd Annual CAN-AM Days Celebration.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Myrtle Beach are excited to welcome our Canadian friends back to The Beach for Can-Am Days on March 11-19, 2023. Myrtle Beach is all about reconnecting with loved ones, exploring the 60 miles/100 km of Grand Strand natural splendor, learning coastal culture in the 14 different communities, playing your best game of golf, and finding that perfect bite. With deals and events specifically for Can-Am Days, you can enjoy the beach vacation you deserve. Plan your trip today and find where you belong at The Beach!

From one who lives on the coast, still think your best golf is in the Merrill's Inlet and Pawley's Island areas. The Dunes, Grand Dunes, and Surf would be my recommendation for Myrtle. I have played the The Dunes and Surf Clubs, as well as work in the golf business and do events at courses in that area. If you belong to a club, have your pro make a few calls and see if you can get on any of the private clubs in the area. For instance, Debordieu Club a bit North of Georgetown is a real gem and worth the short drive down from MB.

I've played most of them from the north end to the south and my #1 is The Dunes. I'm not sure how easy it is to get on nowadays. After that Caledonia, True Blue and the Barefoot courses. Also Pine Lakes (The Grabdaddy) is always a treat. World Tour is cool to play holes copied from great holes around the world.
