Flagstick In or Out?

    I'm not good enough for it to matter most of the time BUT there are times where the ball is coming in a little hot and having it in keeps me from completely blowing by the hole.
    That being said, I tend to like it out more often than not on 10 footers

    I like it better out. Gives me more confidence in the hole being bigger for my ball to go in!!

    I usually do what the other players prefer. I probably have a slight preference for out. But if everyone else is leaving it in, that’s fine.

    Typically I will pull the pin with in 9 feet, but if I am less confident with a putt I will usually leave it in. After seeing this data I am going to try it each way a bit more often to see if I notice any difference.

    Always out for me, unless it's an extremely long putt. I may leave it in to speed up play as well.

    I personally prefer to pull it; it just suits my eye better.

    The exception being on longer putts when I have to put a little pace on the ball, for some reason, it feels better.

    gotta pull it nothing beats the sound of that pro v1 hitting the bottom of the cup

    I used to always take the pin out but nowadays I very rarely bother if I’m honest unless someone I’m playing with asks, doesn’t make too much difference to me

    I used to always take the flag out but since Covid I just got in the habit of not really bothering about it and not fussed for taking it out unless someone I’m playing with asks for it. Doesn’t make much difference to me in or out

    If ball is on the green, always pin out as long as I can see the cup clearly.
    When chipping I leave the flag in.
    All of this is regardless of distance.
