WELL FOLKS IT IS SURE NICE TO LIVE WHERE I DO IN THE WINTER,,,BUT, TODAY I HAD TO STOP AFTER 9 HOLES.
IT WAS 95 DEGREES WITH 70 % HUNIDITY AND NO WIND. UGGHH !!
AND WE START @ 7:30 AM
HEAT INDEX TODAY IS 105---NICE.

I know that feeling. I live in Miami and like Dogloski said, we've had temps around 90 with high humidity by 8 AM every morning. I can't even go to the range just to hit balls in the early morning. The range faces due east, right into the sun and you can't see a damned thing until around 11 AM when the sun is higher and the temp with it.
It's funny, but I never was so intolerant of the heat before. I drink all sorts of sports drinks and tons of water. I take peanut butter sandwiches with me for some energy... but I'd say most of the time when I pass the 13th hole where it comes real close to the clubhouse, I'm tempted to quit. If I'm around par, I'll push on, but if it's been a bad round, sometimes the temptation is way too much.
