Finally got my first hole in one at The Links Shell Cove on my sons 11th birthday. 8 iron from 142 m to pin, 2 bounces, check and the ball has disappeared in the hole. Both my arms went up in disbelief, my 2 playing partners jumping all over me in celebration. It was during a competition round as well which made it sweeter!! I was using ball #17 strangely which I purchased a box off as the club didn’t have #87, the year of my birth. Thankfully the guys told me not to tee off with it on the 7th and put it away which is still in my bedside draw yet to be framed
