During the first round of my club championships at Muirfield Golf club, I hit the shot of my life on hole 15. The par 3 was playing 170m with a bit of wind into. I had this exact yardage on the previous par 5 for my second shot into wind and my 5 iron went long of the green so I decided to trust my 6 iron would still get there into wind. It started slightly left of the pin with a slight fade. My whole group saw it land on the green near the flag and due to the undulation we couldn’t see where it had finished. As we walked towards the green, my ball was nowhere in sight. I thought I went long so I started walking to back of the green but decided to take a glance in the hole just in case. To my surprise, it was in the hole!
