Hey guys,
I just got back from the Bob Vokey Tour Experience wedge fitting, which was amazing! As I figured, I now will be gaming 4 wedges, PW, 51,55 and 59. Which leaves me to remove a club from my long game.
I currently have 712 CB's 4-pw, 3 iron 712u and 913HD 20* steel x100 (only put one in the bag a time), png Anser 17*, which I want to keep, png Anser 3 wood. I am a 3 Handicap
This is what I am looking for- a 4 iron that will be a little for forgiving then my CB and will go a little farther to decease the gap between it and my 17* Hybrid (225 carry) and 5 iron (195 carry)
So my question is...Which club is longer and more forgiving AP2 4 iron or the 712U 4 iron, and more versatile for my bag set up? I am open to other suggestions also. I only want to buy 1 or 2 new clubs this year...I blew by golfing budget on my new wedges.
BTW- I know getting fitting is the best answer but not all fitters have 4 irons. Looking for answers from people who have hit both.
Thanks
Jay
