Got sent the black number protos and have really enjoyed them through a couple rounds. Feel is a bit softer, getting solid flight/spin through the bag. Don’t have trackman data but I’m definitely gaining a few yards too . The cover seems to be much more durable, as I’d often get scuff marks from a wedge on a brand new ball so very happy with that update.

My only complaint is the ball gets discolored really really quickly. After 5-6 holes the ball looks like it’s been through a war lol. Would have taken a picture but it only made it through 17 holes (will update thread whenever I play next). Has happened all three rounds I’ve played with them thus far. Happy about the improved durability, but playing with a brown ball isn’t great and haven’t had that issue with any Prov1 in the past. Other reviews seem to say otherwise, so maybe I got a bad batch in that regard. Looking forward to the 2027 ball but hope this issue can be addressed.
