Favorite golf memory this summer: making five birdies on the back nine.

When Steve Stricker hits 182 yard bunker shot to 25 feet and then makes the putt  for birdie to win the 2011 John Deere Classic by one over Kyle Stanley!

August 5th, 2011 -16th hole at my home course. I got to the tee and was thinking I had too much club (6iron). My friend offered me his AV1 8 iron. He had just purchased them a month earlier and said they were longer than my  fusions. I hit hit his "8"…

I guess I would have to say shooting my first round ever under par (70) the first round after getting my new Newport 2.6 while listening to my grandpa tell the story of his first hole in one earlier in the week the whole round ;)

I played my 1st round last year, and my accuracy was a little off. On the par 4 8th and I was 60 yards away under some Douglas furs. My shot went thru the trees without hitting a single branch and landed 10 feet from the hole!
