Congrats Titleist. I can definitely concur that Titleist is the best. With my most recent additions I am now playing a totally Titleist bag and love it. Your the best and you deserve the accolades.
I think money plays a big part as well. From the company's stand point it's almost like investing in stocks. You have your old high dividend paying stocks but you're always looking for some long shots that can really pay off big. All equipment…
It's all about feel. I have softer shafts in my 56 & 60 but keep my stiffer shafts in my wedge and gap.
Just for reference my yardages are:
PW - 135yds
GAP - 125yds
56 - 115yds
60 - 95yds
Even though I know the odds are beyond awful, I got sucked into the "somebody has to win" theory and forked over $5 on Tuesday...of my 30 numbers, I didn't match a single one.
David, I'm still upset that I didn't redeem my free medium french…

RC I think you're thinking of Milled rather than Forged. Forging is the forming under extreme pressure…
It's not necessarily a bad thing!
I would find a TPI Certified in your area so they could assess any tightness that may be hurting your game. The Flat swing may only be a symptom!
