My partner and I were trying to qualify for the USGA 4-Ball at the Ritz Carlton Members Club in Sarasota, FL. We came up to the 7th hole and I was between clubs and my partner convinced me to go with the 9-iron over wedge. I hit first from 159 yards and we watched it roll 10 ft left right in the hole. I yelled and we thought it was our day after being so close a couple times now. I ended up forgetting to put the ball out of play and hole out from the fairway for eagle on 14 with the same ball. We ended up missing by 2 but it was one hell of a day. Played Pro-V1’s my whole life and will never change.
