Strike one from the bucket list

I retired June 22, 2012; after working for The Tennessean in Nashville for 39 years; the last 20 years as National/Majors Ad Manager. Over the last few years I have averaged playing about twice a month. I have been working out with a strenuous weight program for the last three years and the workouts have helped me drive the ball further and I have been working on my iron play. On July 19, 2012, my brother was off work and we decided to play Twelve Stones. The hole in question has water down the left side of the fairway extending to the front of the green and a creek behind the hole. My goal was to go at the hole but if I missed, miss right of the hole. I hit the shot on line toward the hole. Both my brother and I believed it was close, but we were very surprised when we found the ball in the hole. It was my first hole in one although I do have a double eagle to my credit many years ago. One of my retirement goals is to shoot par once in my life and to to play Pebble Beach.
