Par 3, Hole #16, 167 yards to the flag over a water inlet with a large bunker in the very front of a green that is high in the front, low in the middle and higher toward the back of the green. the pin was located on the right middle portion of the green, not being able to see the hole from the tee box, just the top 3/4 of the flag stick. After hitting a 7 iron shot to the flag, my foresome went to the green and started looking at our shots. My partners ball was located to the right of the pin, as I approached the ball (thinking it was mine- it was not) we started looking for my ball. We looked in the right rough, behind the green, etc. As I was walking back to the drop area, I happened to look into the hole, and at that point I saw my Titleist Pro V, with 3 black dots on it. I was very surprised as were the other members in the group, and I let out a loud roar. I am just sorry that we were not able to see the ball go into the hole from the tee. At the completion of the round of golf, I had to buy a round of drinks for my Golf League members that night, since it is the League that I run. The ball and a plaque are now on my wall in the den with the scorecard attached under the ball.
