My first hole in one

We started on hole 1 so this was the 17th hole of the scramble tournament. 17 at Twin Hickory in Hornell, NY is a difficult par three due to its small slightly elevated green. Since the course is on a hilltop, it is always windy and today was no exception. I was hitting third on our team and the first two were not even close. I was commenting to some of the golfers on the other team playing with us that this par three is pretty difficult and they agreed that its handicap listing should be lower since it is very hard to par let alone birdie and they were members of the club. I selected the six iron since the distance was 158-160 yards and the wind was strong and from right to left. The strike felt pure (not usual) and I aimed well right for a draw and the wind. The ball hit the green and we heard it hit the flag stick. Someone said he though it kicked right but when we approached the green all we saw were two balls on the fringe and a deep ball mark about two feet in front of the hole. None of the two balls was mine. Mine was in the cup...61 years old and my my first hole-in-one. Very exciting.
