I just came from hole # 12 where I had a tripple bogey and was a little upset. Ok I was really upset.
One of my playing partners was already on the green at 13 when I teed off. We saw my ball land on the green and run down a small slope. After it ran down the slope we could not see it from the tee box.
Randy and I drove up to the green grabbed our putters. When we walked up to the green we saw only one ball. I headed back to the cart to get a wedge thinking my ball must have rolled off the green.
Randy was looking in the trap and I was looking on the back side of the green, nothing. It was one of those " okay where did the ball go" it couldnt have just disappeared.
I walked toward the hole just to take a look not really intending to find it but there it was in the bottom of the cup.
What a cool feeling to have a hole in one. That 13th hole at Skylinks always gives me problems and to get the hole in one after the tripple bogey on 12, wow. It was a short mental roller coaster ride.
