Just be a donation

I hit my first hole in one this past Sunday July 15th, 2012. As I'm walking to the tee box on hole 4 at Dixie Golf Club in Laurel Ms., my playing partner Mr. John Sanford placed $3 in the $1 for another tee shot bucket for each player on our team and said if we hit it in then that will just be a donation. Then I teed up first and hit a perfect 7 iron to the uphill 185 yard par 3 that is sloped severely back to front. It was high with a slight draw that cleared the pin by 3 feet. I took a deep breathe knowing that it was really close but thought it had stopped when I notice that it was still inching it was slightly to the left of the flagstick then back right and down into the bottom of the cup. After a round of high fives and hugs it started to sink in and I immediately ran to my phone to give my father a call. He introduced me to the sport 16 years earlier but had to call it quits due to two seperate back surgeries a couple of years ago. It was a memory I will never forget.
