I was practicing late in the afternoon on the putting green when one of the club members, who had just finished the front nine with his wife, asked if I wanted to join him and his son for the back nine. I hessitated for a few minutes because I really wanted to practice for the Club Championship coming this weekend. I decided playing nine holes would be practice as well and I joined them. I played the 10th hole very well except for 3 putting for a bogey. Got to 11, the par 3, 186 yard hole and rolled it in for my hole-in-one with a 24 degree hybrid that I got from a friend of mine a couple of months ago. I was in the Hole in One club and won enough cash to pay my member dues for the next 4 months. The one catch to this whole story is that I lost my job just 3 weeks ago and was wondering if I was even going to be able to stay with the club membership. Now it will get me by through the end of the year and hopefully I can find my next job by then - this was truly a God Incident and I know that he is watching over me and my family. This is my second hole in one - my first one was 34 years ago - the first year of my marriage and we are will be celebrating number 35 in the next couple of months.
