I have been playing and working in the golf industry for over 12 years and haven't had the luck of a hole in one until yesterday!

A buddy of mine asked me to play yesterday after I got off work. I was not going to play because of the heat, long day at work and I had to be somewhere in 3 hours. Well, I decided last second that I needed to go play... my round was decent and I made the turn with a birdie on 8 and 9. By this time, it was time for me to leave because of my prior commitment. However I got a text message that the plans had been moved back a half hour later. I told my group that I would play holes 10-12 and leave. I continued on to make birdie on #10 and then HOLE IN ONE on #11!!! The experience of being 6 under on a four hole stretch was pretty awesome!

The 11th hole is a par 4 at Angeles National Golf Club. The hole plays approximately 310 yards from the back tees. My group consisted of a good friend, long time coworker, a ranked junior golfer and his father.

My bag is ALL Titleist AP2 irons, SM4 wedges, 910 D3, 910 H and Newport 2.6. My luck finally came using the 910 D3 and Pro V1x.

That's the story of my first hole in one, albatross!!!
