    I am in need of new wedges as my SM8 groves are pretty worn. I also need to fix some gapping issues. I know the new wedges are due to come out in the spring, but I don’t know how much they change between releases. Could I get fit for gapping on the SM9 but wait for the new release or should I get fitted for them when the new ones come out? I ask because have an iron fitting this week.

    Were you fit for SM8 or did you just get what you thought you needed? Only you know if waiting works for you. We all go through that decision process on replacement timing, some folks change as soon as the new ones are out and others wait or always purchase the close outs of the past model. I have even changed during the same model year just to adjust to moving to a new location where course conditions were significantly different. Ask your iron fitter next week what he thinks based on your specifics. Good luck!

    I was fit for them, but need replacement for gapping an groove wear.
