As I changed my iron set (first time non-Titleist haha), the PW has 44 degrees. I'm about to update my wedges and wanted to go for the following set-up: 48, 52, 58. Because currently it is 48, 54, 58. But I do see the gap between 48 and 54!
What do you guys think? I don't want to carry an additional one, but I'm trying to keep the gap as tidy as possible, and my short game is not the strongest, so I really need to trust the carry length of each wedge. For me, I thought it more important to keep the 4 degrees difference till 52. The 58 will be more of an all-rounder for the sand as well, etc. Or do you think the gap is too "heavy" after the 52?
