    I live in the Chicagoland area and I’m heading south to play golf. What are some must play courses near Fort Lauderdale?

    Jacaranda is usually in really good shape, and Plantation Preserve is good. To be honest, that neck of the woods isn't tremendous for public golf, a lot of run down muni's that get trampled in the Dec-May season. Ask the guys at the hotel or make a few calls.
