BOS was the company that did the black oxide finishes for Scotty in the early days, so they will be the best to bring it back to original. I've seen many of restorations done by them. They come out looking like new again.

Have you tried to call the Custom Shop to verify they cannot do what you want? I just went to his website and in the Custom Shop Classic application was able to add a Newport Longneck TEI3 and select restoration. I didn’t go all the way through the form, but it appears they can work on your putter. The note that pops up is, “ NOTE: (We are unable to offer restoration on Cameron & Crown, My Girl, MOTO and Holiday Putters.)”.

i sent my TEI3 Santa Fe 2 putter to the custom shop and they restored it beautifully, look as good as the day i purchased it 20 plus years ago. Would highly recommend them, pricey but worth every penny
