So let me start by saying that I hadn't had a job for several months and finally got a call that morning for a job offer. When I heard the hourly rate I said that wouldn't be enough, and the lady on the phone sounded surprised and that she would need to call me back to see if they could match my offer. So I sat around and waited to hear back from her all day until I got sick of waiting and went golfing with a buddy. Normally I have my phone right next to me, but for whatever reason I had it in my bag that day. When I finally realized on hole number 3 that I had a missed call from the job I had been waiting to hear back from all day I figured I would wait until hole 4 the first par 3 on the front nine to call her back. So my swing thought was simply was to put it as close as I could to the pin to the point were the other 2 guys playing would just give me the putt and I could make the important phone call back. So I hit it pure as silk. Normally I talk to my ball when it's in the air and even though one of the guys said it "needed to get up", I sat there staring not saying a word. That's when it dropped and rolled for a sec and then disappeared. I thought I was going to have a heart attack! I then called the lady back and she matched my offer. Best 30 seconds of 2009! Then I had to call my dad because he still hasn't had one yet. THE CRAZY TWIST....Come to find out a couple years later that the guy I went golfing with that day was so jealous that I got a hole in one before he did, that during one of the phone calls after it went in he went up and switched out my hole in one pro-v1 for a different pro-v1. I haven't spoken to him since I found that out.
