This was my first-ever hole in one!!! I am 17 years old and have been golfing for 5 years. The shot was made on the eighth hole of the Leaf Course at Saltleaf Golf Preserve in Bonita Springs, Florida. We had a group of eight people so we were split into two tee times, but because we were the only ones on the course that morning, we were allowed to play as a single group of eight. We played individually but we were on teams of two, and the winning team was the team with the lowest combined score at the end. We only played nine holes, but on the eighth hole, I tee’d off first, and my ball landed three feet shy of the hole and bounced in on the first bounce! Because our group was so large, there were eight witnesses including myself! Many of the people in our group had never seen a hole in one before! My dad was the only other person in the group who had made one before. My brother and I were on a team together and we had the lead the entire round, but our lead was dwindling until I made the shot. We won with a combined score of 71, and I shot my best round of my career statistically at even par! I tied with my dad for the best individual score.
