I'm an amateur golfer (give or take 5 years) who loves the game and working to become better than the time before. I join my husband for a round of golf occasionally during the season and back during the pandemic golfing is what we did to keep ourselves sane. On May 14, 2021 (will never forget the day) I surprisingly made a HOLE-IN-ONE on a par 3 hole at my local course in MD! I had know idea what all this meant as an amateur golfer but I soon found out! My husband and the group waiting behind us SCREAMED and began to jump all around and my husband called what seemed like everyone he knew! I was stunned and stared at the ball wondering "How the heck did this just happen?!" I soon realized I had EXTREME bragging rights around my husband and his friends who golf regularly :) What I didn't know is that I was suppose to buy a round of drinks (as tradition would have it); instead the drinks (rather the bottles) came my way including fabulous bottles of champagne! I later had my name engraved on a plague in the Pro Shop with all the Hole-In-One individuals and its now a great reminder of where I was then and how much better I am as a golfer now. And while I know it was pure luck - I pride myself in saying "I'm a golfer and yes I have made a hole-in-one". Thank you Titleist - the ball that made me a short term celebrity is proudly displayed in my home :) ... and as of this writing, my husband finally caught up and he too got a Hole-In-One a few weeks ago (March 21, 2026) with a Titleist ball!
