The day my wife decided to ride along.
This blind tee shot from 319 running down hill to the left. The smart play would have been to layup. But what the heck hitting my driver well today. You need to carry 249 I believe to get over the hazards, after that you hit a drastic downhill that runs to the green. Line up the shot. Planning the ball to go over the trees and not into them on the left. Wouldn’t you know, it actually does. Now, side note- the ball I pulled out of my bag was from my brother. Who has been trying to change me to Titleist for several weeks due to my poor performance at a scramble. So my wife and I take the cart path downhill looking for the ball. Which looked to be heading right for the flag. We spent 10 minutes searching. Now the pair behind us has caught up. So I drop a ball roughly 40 yards from the flag. Putting from 5 feet after my chip shot… As I line up with the cup I glance several times, wouldn’t you know it. My brother’s scuffed up Trufeel is looking at at me from the bottom of the cup! I knelt by the cup for a good 2 minutes before getting up. Amazing moment. Amazing moment.
-Mike, thanks for the ball
Sincerely, a new lifelong Titleist user-
