My love for the game of golf began when I took a caddy position at 13 years old at a local country club. I worked hard at that job and soaked up every bit of golf knowledge I could. I was also lucky enough to be awarded the Evans Scholarship and attended Michigan State University because of this fine game. In all of my years exposed to the game, I have never witnessed a hold-in-one.
Today, I was playing at Birkdale Golf Club in Huntersville, NC and when I swung on the twelfth hole, it was the purest connection I've ever felt between my iron and the ball. I could tell it was going to be something special. As we worked our way down the fairway I couldn't see my ball on the green and I began to wonder. When I arrived at the green I realized that I witnessed and shot my first hole-in-one today!
