I am a 6.4 handicap index, playing handicap 4. I was playing the weekly competition and had just dinged 9th and 10th holes and was wanting to walk in. The 11th hole is 40ft up hill and was playing into the wind, hence the 5 iron. It hit the shot with a bit of discontent and a slight bit of anger. As the green is elevated from the tee, I was unable to see it going in, but the cheers from the fourball in front, let me know that I had holed it. My disgust from the previous holes, instantly disappeared and I was overcome with joy. I went on to Birdie 3 of the next 7 holes and finished with 34pts, with 4 dings on the card. Golf is a fickle game, but these are the moments we play for. One regret from the day, is that I don't have a picture. Our fouball don't bring phones on the course, but we will in future.
