Me and my mates (PGA Squish) have been planning a lads Golf trip and the day came, 11th July 2025. We played Prestatyn Golf Club in North Wales on the 11th, and after a long hot day we rested and recovered. The next day we played Porthmadog Golf Club in North Wales. 2nd hole, 122 yards, 48 degree (2019) T100S in hand, I hit a nice shot on line with a pin located just over a ridge in the green. My playing partners commented that it was a good shot, but we could not see it for the undulating green. We continue on, and on the walk up to the hole notice that there is no ball on the green, heart beginning to race I make my way closer to the hole, pausing just out of eye shot I creep ever closer. The ball isn’t in the back of the cup… I lean over an inch more, and there it is, sat perfectly in the front of the cup. Chaos ensued and celebrations I’m sure the whole course could hear. What better time to do it than on a Golfing holiday with long time friends. Cheers to Golf, and to chasing the next one.
