I decided to switch from standard grips to midsize
I didn’t get a chance to swing them before tournament yesterday in Trumansburg
Playing with my 2-man golf partner (happens to be 49 yo Mayor as well) & my son and his buddy
We get our starting hole, #12 - Par 3… 125 yd

The buddy gets just over the pond… son gets in the pond… my turn
No idea what is gonna come of this first swing with new, larger grips
Is it gonna push a bit (might not get thru it)
Am I gonna pull it with first swing outta the car
Chunk it in the pond, etc
Well… I swing… looks great… got extra height I was hoping for, didn’t need a death grip…
Slaps the pin 3’ up
Rides down the pin & into the hole

Hits bottom of cup & the bolty knob on bottom of the flag
Pops out on the green to the right
Sucks back into the ️
“1”
We went crazy 
*and my son was there to witness it
