I normally hit a 3 wood on this hole and have a 40-60 yard pitch into the green. That day, I pulled the 3 wood out, took three steps toward the tee box and said out loud, “I’m never going to drive this green unless I hit a driver”. Struck it well, the ball landed near the front of the green and curled into the hole. First official hole in one. Probably my last. lol
