I had not played in a couple of weeks due to weather and travel. On the first hole I had a four putt for a double bogey. The next hole is a very short par 3. The pin was behind a bunker on the left obscuring the hole from my view. The ball had a nice trajectory, right in line with the pin. When it landed one of my regular partners was standing to my right and had a clear view of the hole. When it landed he said, “this could be good.” Then he started yelling, “ it went in, it went in, it’s a hole-in-one.” I was in shock. It was a great experience and I’m happy I was playing with my regular group.
