On a golf trip to Northern Michigan with 8 buddies, I hit my second hole-in-one on a par 3 (hole 13) at Hawks Eye Golf Club in Bellaire, MI.

It’s a downhill par 3, that plays about 115 from the white tees. My gap wedge was on back order, forcing me to use my pitching wedge. I hit a nice subtle fade into the left side of the green, with a front left pin location. The ball landed 5 yards from the pin and came down the slope and we got to watch it slowly roll towards the hole before disappearing.

We all went wild when we saw it go in. A local neighbor heard us shouting and came out to celebrate with a shot of whiskey.

It was such a cool moment. The ball was a Titleist Pro V1.
