I was playing Admiral Baker South Course here in San Diego, CA. I got put to hole #3 which is a par 3 hole that had the pin placed center of the green today. My range finder said 176 yards to the pin and there was a club and a half wind of hurt. I grabbed my trusty 7 iron, stood over my ProV1X and hit a shot straight at the pin. We see it bounce on the green but we couldn’t see much else as the sun combined with the green made it hard to see. We start walking up to the green and I see my partners ball off to the left side on the collar area of the green but I don’t see my ball. I ask him if he sees my ball anywhere and then it dawns on us. Could it be in the hole? No way, right? I start to walk up to the hole and there it is sitting at the bottom of the cup. My first hole in one.
