    Have been working with a TPI specialist and PT to develop a strong core and work on balance and tempo since October. The screenings have shown much improvement and the distance is coming back. But at my age have to settle with what I can get as long as it is down the middle. Just not as long as I was a year and a half ago. My PT seem to think they can get me there. Have to follow their lead. Biggest efforts are now on balance and only playing on warmer days. Cold days are murder on back issues and extra PT on strained muscles. ha..ha..ha.. Feel positive about the direction we are going. =)

    I know I need to activate using the ground better. Will be giving these two conditioning drills a shot. Thanks for the benefits beyond the ball and the club by the brand.

    I like the drills that were demonstrated. They can be done at home or in the gym.

  6. I recently began training with a Rypstick and the exercises they have you do incorpate a lot of the training mentioned here.

    The swings in the first level of training included making a large movements from your trailing foot to your front foot.

    During each training session, you take 18 swings from your non-dominant side (left handed swings for a right handed person)

    All of this includes adding slight amounts of increasing weight.

    So far, my swing speed is up 6-9% at the max but I’m trying to incorporate the faster swing “capability” into a comfortable golf swing.

    How do you like it? I’m considering that for myself. Is it worth the money?
  8. I decided to start hockey skating again this winter to build lower body strength for next golf season. I try to get in @ 4 hours a week at the rink doing laps. I am also swinging an orange whip 200 times a day both right and left-handed. We'll see if this helps in the spring.
