Would you give up yardage to find more fairways?

    In testing, two shafts, with my gt3 I find that one costs me ten to twenty yards off the T but finds the fairway. I'm not sure I can live with that distance loss. What would you do? Thank you so much.

    Find a fitter and try a few more shafts. If the distance is there, a good fitter can probably steer you to a shaft that will give you close to the same yards and tighten up the dispersion.
