  1. Hey everyone,

I’m considering making the switch from my current cally Apex Pro irons to a set of Titleist irons, and I’d love some advice from those of you who have experience with Titleist clubs.

My primary goal is to reduce the height of my ball flight—right now, I feel like my shots tend to launch a bit higher than I’d like, especially on the longer irons. I’m looking for a set that will give me more control over the trajectory without sacrificing too much forgiveness or feel.

Any recommendations for club / shaft options?

    You're asking us???
Sounds like you're ready to book a fitting.
There are so many different shaft profiles, weights, flexes, & lengths because there are so many different swings. You need to find a good fitter and tell them what you are looking for, and demo several different shafts to find which one fits your desired ball flight.

All the major OEMs realize the value of individual fittings. Titleist offers sponsored fitters that are circulated around to clubs for fittings. $100 to guarantee an hour slot, refunded with a purchase that day.
Each of us is uniquely different that the best combination of head and shaft for one of us likely won’t be your best option.
The fitter will find the best option for you based on your current set, what you expect, and what gives your best numbers.

We would just be guessing since we have no reference point on your existing swing speed, angle, etc. that would be registered on a TrackMan device. Everyone’s swing is unique so there is no better way to achieve what you are needing than to get a proper fitting. Anything else will just be a risk. Best wishes and I know a good Titleist certified fitter will get you where you want to go with your irons.

Recommend seeing a Titleist fitter. You might like a blended set of T series irons, Lower hitting irons for you longer shots and keeping you height in you shorter shots. See a certified fitter, he will have the answer for the right heads and shafts. Everyone on here will have a different opinion based on the personal use, the pro will have the right one for your needs.
