  1. Hi all. I had my fitting for new T-Series irons today. Went great, enjoyed it, Titleist fitter was great, but I have some questions. While I don't doubt the fit at all, the proof was in the results, I went home, ordered my clubs and then went online to see what people were saying about the Graphite Design AD DI Tour iron shafts. Again, I trust the fit, but wanted I was searching for some feedback and perhaps a long term review. There is shockingly little about these iron shafts online. Most searches turn up lots of information about the hybrid and driver shafts, but almost none talk about their iron offering. I would love some feedback from anyone who has played these in their irons. Thanks guys. Added bonus, when my irons come in, I'll only be short a 3-wood and wedges from being full bag Titleist.

Based on my experience with the GD XC-6 shafts in my driver and 3W, I chose to put the AD-85 R shafts in my T150 irons (2023 version). Admittedly, I did not get fit for this specific shaft but based on similar research I have done along with my experience with the GD shafts, the flight profile and numbers looked quite compatible with other graphite shafts I have had in iron sets. Initially, I thought I made a good choice and know the shafts are of high quality, but over time, I learned that the torque in these shafts (2.4) does not give me the feel I like of the shaft loading. Each iron feels the same whether I am hitting a pitching wedge or a 6 iron. It makes sense in hindsight given the torque is consistent for each shaft and is not a descending torque from the longer shafts down to the wedges. I would be fine to keep these shafts in my 8,9, PW, but not mid-irons as they feel too stiff. One positive aspect is they stand up well to my transition which is fairly quick.
