TSR3 Warranty Replacement

  1. Got a warranty replacement for my TSR3 due to an indent on the driver face. I didn’t notice it at first until I met up with someone to trade for their TSR2, but the TSR portion of the driver head has a cosmetic defect and I realized there is no serial number. Was just wondering if anyone has had experience getting a driver like this from warranty. I believe this is one of those special cases where instead of repairing the club or providing a new replacement they gave me a replacement that performs fine and didn’t pass the cosmetic QC. Don’t think it’s a fake as my local golf course helped me fulfill the warranty claim for it.

The driver performs perfectly fine but just curious.

You were sent a whole new driver or just the head? Titleist says they provide exact replacements, down to the exact same weight. I’ve never heard that they repurpose club heads that don’t pass a cosmetic check.
  3. I was sent only a head replacement. It performs as it should but was surprised to receive a repurposed club head instead.

Agree with Don, this sounds strange. I can't imagine a case where there would be no serial number. Suggest you call Titleist Customer Service and discuss the situation. I hate to think someone at your local shop did a switch on you. Contact info for customer service is at the bottom of this website.

Did you bring this to the attention of the titleist account where you purchased your TSR3? (your stated that your y local golf course helped me fulfill the warranty claim for it.) Did you purchase the club at you local golf course? I would have checked with them and had them contact Titleist. I thought all equipment sent from Titleist had a serial number? This does not sound right. Or you can contact Titleist customer service. If you contact them ensure you have the paperwork.
