  1. Just won some pro shop $$ in a member guest and getting a new 56* wedge. I've never played SM wedges. I'm very handsy with my wedges so I like a lighter wedge without a lot of head weight. I've tried the Cleveland RTX wedges and they are way too heavy for my liking. I will go and probably do a fitting but how is the weight on the SM9's? Any thoughts, insights or opinions?

You can specify swing weight as part of the custom order. Titleist in the absence of a spec will build to the club to the standard spec. C9 or D0 will come lighter than the stock D2 or D4.

A good fitter can get you the swing weight, plus a lighter shaft that can meet your needs.

Spoke with customer service regarding your situation. They can indeed work with you and can vary from the standard swing weight, around three swing weights up or down. Backing up my previous statement, important to see a fitter.
