  1. As title suggest accidentally bought a box of Pro V1x left dash (they were right next to the regular Pro V1x).

Decided to give them a try and the results are very interesting. First and foremost my spin off the tee dropped fairly significantly ball flight was straighter and a few yards longer than normal on average.

Green side control / spin. This is where the problems started. I tend to generate just the right amount of spin around the greens with a usually harder than average golf ball (Pro V1x , Z Star Diamond, Tour BX, etc. so I figured wouldn’t be an issue. Long story short they feel great off the tee great down the fairway but a bit too hard for my preference.

Yep, that's the left dash. Started playing them recently, and they are phenomenal off the tee and long irons but takes some adjustment around the greens. Starting to get used to the "click" off the wedges and putter.

I bought them with the pre-season 4 dozen for 3. At my TPI fitting, he asked what ball I play. When I said Left Dash, he told me that was the wrong ball - FOR ME. I'm one that needs a little more spin, so X is the better ball for me. Now, I just need to get through the rest of the order and get back to the right ball!

The fitter also said that more players come IN playing Left Dash than leave playing it

  4. Left dash is about the only ball I use. Some days I'll use some older Pro V1's I've had in the garage, but always come back to the left dash.
For me, they suit my driver / iron game really well. I'm so bad at chipping that a ball change wouldn't make a difference HAHAHA
