Same ball, different color.

I played both colors in the 2023 version last year and I didn't notice any difference in performance. If the balls did something "wrong" it was my fault. Didn't really notice a big difference in seeing the yellow better than the white. Actually, went back to using the white ones this year.

For my game, I can’t tell the difference. So with blue skies I play white, if gray, then I play white if I have someone with better eyes, yellow for myself.

As an older golfer I can see the yellow balls a little easier especially in cloudy conditions. No difference in performance whatsoever

Besides the visibility, I wouldn’t believe you’d see any sort of performance difference.

I've been carrying a yellow 1x as an alternate ball, used for provisionals or when I need to drop a ball and the cart is on the other side of the hole. That way, I can differentiate my two shots without having to change the way I mark my primary golf balls. Those are personalized 1x's, usually, with a custom number and my name plus on them I just buy a sleeve from time to time as my alternates get lost, damaged, or simply worn out.

I battled this same thing last season. Wanted the yellow ball to be "different" from the group and also track easier. Never noticed any difference in performance or feel. Love the ProV1x yellow, white or whatever other color they want to come out with. It's my ball of choice.

I would also agree that the only performance change will be your visibility. However, I like to roll on with what works as well. Good luck!

I’ve watched a few YouTube videos and they saw a decrease in performance in yellow golf balls, personally I can’t tell the difference. They all feel good!

Some brands will paint yellow over a white ball. That will change ball flight with a small variation of the dimple depth. The X and V versions do not.

Maybe in other brands.

I have played both yellow and white. Could not find any differentiation in performance.

I think its great to have the option available to use a yellow ball. There are alot of people that like playing them. I think if there was any performance distance they would make it known.

Never thought I would play a yellow ball but I love the visibility factor off the tee. Just ordered some yellow AVX's.

Performance is identical. Yellow does help in locating both in air and when landing.

I personally avoid yellow this time of year. The leaves in Arkansas are unforgiving when it comes to hiding yellows and greens here. I am more of a “high numbers” ball fan to avoid confusion in a group!

Depends on the timing, as I play bright and early majority of the time the sun is in the front so tracking a yellow ball becomes more difficult. Mid day on wards I feel yellow balls are better visually.

Fraser Golf Institute did a pretty good video on it. Personally use yellow as there easier to identify and easier to see in the air.
