  1. I ordered AVX “Buy 3 Get 1 dozen Free” golf balls on March 20th. It’s been 3 weeks and no communication, no balls. I called the PGA Tour Superstore and they told me late April due to heavy demand and Titleist is backed up. Really? 5-6 weeks for golf balls?

  2. I experienced the same thing. PGA Superstore is always quick to ship but after a couple weeks of nothing I called and they informed me they would be coming direct from Titleist. A buddy ordered from golfballs.com and the same happened to him too.

Did you place a custom order or standard balls?

When I placed my order, it was clearly stated “Loyalty Golf Balls are ordered directly from Titleist and take 4-5 weeks to arrive.” It’s even written on my email receipt from Carl’s Golfland.

Last year my standard order took the full 5 weeks, but this year my custom numbered ProV1x order arrived in 2 weeks.

Maybe that's the trick, order the special play # balls (I don't they have those for Left Dash though).

Nowhere on my PGA receipt does it indicate they would ship direct from Titleist and would take that long. It's not a huge deal as I already had a couple dozen which will last me a while.

The AVX now comes from a single production line at Ball Plant 2. The Pro-V’s can be adjusted for high demand at Ball Plant 3, and even more so with AVX no longer in the same plant. So, yes, the AVX can end up with unexpected demand and limited ability to flex production numbers.
Like Christmas, this deal period likely is 50% or better of direct customer sales for the year, in one month. Next year there won’t be white boxes issued, I expect next year to e smoother.

I placed an "loyalty" order for custom numbered #22 ProV1 on March 26. Shipped out on April 8, got it today (April 10).

Ordered thru Titleist on-line. Got my normal #8 and arrived in less than two weeks. Prov1s. Great service/delivery. I will order directly thru Titleist in the future, ensures order does not sit around at store and you get follow-up directly from Titleist. Just my two cents worth.

New AVX has delayed production. Pro at my club said 4/26 is what he was told. Golfballs.com does their own personalization in house.
