D2 or D3?

    Im a 12 handicap and I want to get a 9.5 stiff shaft D2 or D3 but I like both and cant decide which one to get. Which one should I get?

    it all depends on if you'll gain any advantage to launching it high or low.  the d2 has a higher launch than the d3.  you really should go get a fitting - at worst one of the free fittings at golfsmith or somewhere like that.  the best would be to go to an outdoor fitting facility to see the ballflight.  the ball and numbers don't lie!  good luck.

    Get fitted outdoors on a launch monitor using Pro V's -- look at the spin rates and make a decision from that.  D3 will spin about 300 less than the D2.  Let the launch monitor tell you which one is best.

    The OP only has a Vokey wedge listed for Titleist equipment, why would he want to be fit using ProV1 when that isn't the ball he uses?

    I use NXT, how would clubs fit to me and a ProV1 work with a NXT?

    I agree get fit with a trackman. I also highly recommend taking the club and playing on the course with it. For me the D3 was by far better. I was in play on the course. Night and day difference in play but not that much different in the launch monitor.. Same shaft , of course.
