  1.  Im going to a Titleist fitter monday morning   and wondering what to expect.... Im interested in the 910 driver and 3w  .... will I be just blasting balls for awhile as the fitter keeps handing me clubs?  should I take my current driver (905R) and 3w (906f2) to compare?  Im playing the AP2`s now with the project x 7.0 shaft and love them...swing a 6 iron @ 99mph .....

Hi Jim, You may have already left for your fitting, but definitely take your current clubs so that your fitter can see what your baseline flight and spin look like.  Let us know how it goes!

Hey Jim, having been through the tour fitting process myself, I would definitely recommend taking your current equipment with you so that a comparison can be made. I'm playing a 907D2 right now but was fitted for a 910D2 with a Voodoo stiff shaft that gave me big improvements in dispersion and distance. I'm sure you'll be amazed by all of the information gained from the fitting process! Good luck and enjoy the experience. Be sure to let us all know how it goes as Cathi suggested!
  4. Let me tell you guys something. I was fitted for a D3 with the graphics design shaft. That shaft had a $150 upcharge, so I really needed to find something compareable without too much of an upcharge. The fitter worked with me for 2.5 hours and I must have tried 30 shafts. When it was all said and done, I walked out with a project X 7C3 6.0 stiff tip. I am BOOMING that club. Never in my life have I averaged close to 290 yards per drive until now. Today I shot 5 over par and didnt miss one fairway with my driver. On a short par 3, (307 yards) I ended up pin high to the right of the green and have been very very consistent. I cannot believe how well I was fitted and I couldnt be happier. In the past I averaged 275 on my drives and have added at least 10 yards and when I hit it perfect, I hit it 300. even though that is not every time I hit, in the past a 300 yard drive was almnost an urban legend. The fitting was a great experience and the fitter was awesome. He did Titleist proud. Not only did he not charge me for an extra hour worth of time but he made sure I was happy. Now I just have to get fit for a new set of irons next season :)
