  1. I used to play AP2 w/ KBS S, but little bit stiff.

Now I'm w/ KBS R,  but little bit light weight.

So I'm looking for stiff flex weight(120g), but less stiff flex.

KBS S soft step once would work for my requirement ?

I hope it's still 120g, but less stiff than S flex. Is my assumption right ?

    Thx

Yes, your assumption is correct - we will use the std KBS stiff, but put the 3 into the 4, 4 into the 5, etc.

    Cathi is correct.

One other option to consider and the one that I am going to try is the KBS Tour R+ (115g) shaft.  It's weight is right between the R (110g) and the S (120g) and the flex is in between the 2 as well.  Just thought you might want to know about this new option from KBS.

    Cheers,

    Bryan

At this time, the KBS R+ has not gone through our shaft approval process and is not a shaft we can offer.

Just an update to the R+ and S+ shafts.  They have completed testing and should be getting close to final approval and then addition to our shaft list.

Purchased a set of AP2 w KBS Tour Regulars recently but I'm too am finding them to feel a little too light.  Can I send them back to Titleist and get the shafts switched out to KBS S soft stepped once?  What cost would be incurred to do this?  I also have Hi Rev Regular flex shafts in my wedges.  What would you recommend I do to get the weight up on those?  Can you soft step a Hi Rev shaft?

    Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

If your irons are feeling too light, we may be able to reweight the swingweight.  Soft stepping them will not change the swingweight of the clubs. It will change the flex about 1/4-1/3.   The KBS shafts are balanced higher than say Dynamic gold so the swingweight does come out about 2-3 swingweight points lighter than standard.  You can also add a lighter grip such as a Multi compound or Winn lite to add swingweight.

For costs, please check with your local Titleist pro shop and they can help you with that.
