I recently replaced my old DCI 962 irons with a new set of Titleist. They are 1° upright, 1" long, with DG S300 shafts (hard stepped 1). I still have the 2 iron from my 962s, but I'm thinking of replacing it with a 19° 910H. I have a couple of questions before I start.

    1. My woods are all standard length, but my irons are 1" long (I'm 6'5" tall). Would I normally follow the iron lengths, or is it more like woods?

    2. My wood shafts are X stiff. My irons are stepped up from S300. Do Hybrids tend to follow irons or woods when it comes to stiffness?

I know one answer to this is to go see a fitter, and I probably will. However, I'm curious since I've never had a hybrid before. My fitter with a launch monitor is 60 miles away, so I like to understand as much as I can before I go.

    Thanks!
