I recently purchased a 905r with a real diamana blue board from someone on ebay.  Now the more I look at the shaft I'm questioning the shaft.

Most blue boards say, Diamana in the blue oval, the gram weight of the shaft(63), then x5ct.  Which the last part i'm assuming is referring to something about the shaft.  Then Shaft flex, then Miti. Rayon.

In the one I bought it says, Diamana in the blue oval, the gram weight(63), then g4t.  (Which is Different) Then flex and then miti. Rayon are all the same.

He says the it was a factory custom job from titleist.  I've seen a g4t in some other driver shafts and was hoping a Mod or Cathi or anyone could help me figure this mess out.  Is it authentic or a completely different type of blue board.

    Thanks

When we had a bore through head, Mitsubishi developed a 4" tip parallel to accomodate the bore through.  They named it the g4t.  It was the same shaft with a longer parallel length.   The x5ct is the standard 3" parallel tip that Mitsubishi makes and would be the current shaft that they make and we carry..

That's why I wouldn't trust e-bay. You never know what your going to get, it's descibed as one thing and something else shows up at your door.

sounds like you've had bad experiences, I have not, be more careful in your sellers who you purchase from and everything will be just fine.
