Club Fitting surprise

    I had a fitting yesterday at Carton House with Stephen and it was excellent. But I couldn’t be more surprised by the shafts and club head I was fitted too. I am usually in a stiff shaft and generally a KBS Tour fitted to a t100 type iron But I got fitted Into AMT black regular shaft and t200 head. My spin and land angle where not good and needed to be raised. It’s funny I never expected it going into the fitting based on what I had previously been fitted into. But wow what an experience the fitting was and I can’t wait to get my t200s. Anyone else have a similar fitting? It really shows the importance of a good fitting.

    Completely agree...a good fitting is a must. When I got fit for my TSi driver and fairway wood, the testing and numbers showed that an X-stiff shaft worked best for me; I had been a firm/stiff player since I could remember, and I would have never considered an X-stiff shaft would be an option.

    I've played this setup for over a year and I couldn't be happier with my setup.

    Just proves a quality Titleist fitment is the way to go.

    Had the same experience with my previous iron fitting. Had always played stiff shafts but when I went to the first edition T300s from the AP1S my trusty fitter put me in AMT RED regular shafts. Made a great deal of difference in the distance and accuracy. I always get fitted when purchasing a new club. Do not want to cheat myself and my game.
