    Hi,

I am wondering about what shaft flex I need to play.  I hit my drivers around 280+.  Last time I went to local golfsmith, their swing analyzer said my club head speed was about 115-116 mph with the driver.

I currently have x-stiff on my driver but my Titleist CB710 Irons have S300.  I am wondering if I would need to switch to x100.

My 7 iron goes about 173 yds.  Thanks in advance!

If anything, you should go to an S400 first, heavier shaft.  The X100 will be too light probably.  I had the same problem, and I found heaven in Project X 6.5.

  3. Please, if you have the chance, go to an authorized Titleist fitter and ask them to help you out. We can tell you this and that. but what if it's not correct? You'll never know until you go see them.

There are quite a few Tour players who'll have different flexes throughout their set. X-Stiff irons, S driver, etc.. If someone has X-flex shafts in their irons, that doesn't mean that they need X-flex in their woods.

I agree with Matthew.   I have 695mbs with S400 Sebsicore shafts and love 'em.   My 2 iron is a 695cb with Projrct X.  Heavy shaft with great feel.   Way better than my previous S300s.
