    Hi, with a 910D3 9.5* and a diamana 'ahina 72 for titleist Stiff I'm getting these results: 110 mph swing, 270 yds carry, 3300 rpm, 14 launch angle with a really good accuracy. Thinking in ordering a 910 D3 8.5* with the same diamana but X-flex or the Rip X-flex 70 or 80 g. Which one would be better for reducing spin?

    The main question is: would getting a shaft that would change my spin from 3300 to 2800 be a major improvement in distance?

     

    Any recomendations on good fitters in europe? Someone told me there's one about an hour away from London.

    Assuming all variables are equal, the same shaft with with 8.5 in a D-1 or C-1 setting would reduce your spin.  I wouldn't change flex or shafts...I would change clubhead parameters since the clubface is responsible for about 90% of ball performance.

    I would also look at changing to the Pro V1 X, and tee placement. 

    Reducing spin assuming the launch and ball speed remains the same would lead to an increase in distance!
